Its been awhile…

My dear readers, i hope you're well and welcome back to a mini update of my life.

Sadly, there's not much to report about.

1. Worked and now moving on again.

2. Met new colleagues and now friends with one of them.

3. Enjoyed some good food before deciding to tighten up a notch because of lame softening economy.

4. Graduated from Sauvignon Blanc to Chardonnay (well depends on what type of Chardonnay)

5. Finished a book and looking forward to going to into a bookstore to find new written adventures/fiction on the weekend. Any recommendations??

6. Been going to the gym regularly to keep my ass tight.

what else….. ohh yea!

7. Catching up on Youtubers' videos. They are so trendy these days and loveable. Despite the fact they are very popular and going places and enjoying new hipster things, they can still make videos and maintain their true personality that i used to be able to relate to back when they just started making videos. Touché!

Hmmm thats all. i will update my blog properly on my next entry so do put me down on your schedule!!

RT Cafe

Hi

Sunday is always good to just laze around at home, read a book, or catching up with your friends while having a cup of coffee. Its a good day to be lazy =)

The RT franchise has opened a cafe, RT Cafe for a some time now and today i finally get to give the place a try. If some of you are unaware of this cafe or RT franchise, RT Bakery (first franchise at SS15)  sells japanese buns, cakes, pastries and etc. Their food sells like hot cakes and the bakery is always crowded. yeap, even on weekdays. RT Cafe is a cafe that sells coffee, cakes and some sandwiches.

We ordered three cheesecakes for three people. There's American cheesecake, New York cheesecake, and my Strawberry Tart Chocolate cheesecake. All cheesecakes have a different density of cheese taste and mine came out to be the lightest of the three. hahaha

My cheesecake was the typical kind of cake that you can find in Japan. I used to like this cake a lot but after tasting it today, it was a little bit disappointing. Its not soft, light and creamy as before. The portion shrank down a size. This cake costed me MYR 7.50 after GST.

RT, you need to raise your standards up a notch!

Got my nails done!

I done my nails!! All by myself!! *pat my head*

I'm so used to getting my nails done at the nail salon. Its not that I'm a princess or anything, its because I'm just so bad at doing my nails myself. I always try my best to avoid getting the sides of my nails tainted with nail vanish and i always failed. Some of you must thinking "why can't you just practice and practice you get it right"… well… that take a lot of patience and I'm clearly not very good at that.

So lately, i have been bitten by the bug to learn to get my nails done myself. I've seen so many youtubers (girls) do their own nails all the time and despite, it doesn't look very neatly done, they still give it a go. I went to a beauty fair last week and i bought myself a nice OPI nail vanish.

Brand : OPI

Colour code : NL W52

Got this at a discounted price --> MYR 35 (Retail price --> MYR 65)

I love this shade of red. Its just so dark and vampy (it looks abit lighter in the picture). The formula of this nail vanish is not bad, with two coats of it and your nails are set. Best point is it dries pretty quickly. After applying my red nail vanish, i finish my nails off with a top coat so its looking all glossy and nice! =)

Brand : Sally Hansen

Name : Double Duty Base & Top Coat

Price : MYR 19

Place to purchase : Watsons or Guardian

I applied this onto my naked nails as the base and then two coats of NL W52, and finally another layer of Sally Hansen as my top coat. You're thinking "with so many layers, it must be super thick". i thought about that too before applying, however, it didn't and my nails dried pretty quickly.

If you're looking for new nail vanish colour to try, could give this red shade a go!

what happened to me

Hello

The last time i blogged was last month and i was telling you guys that i clearly, find everything in my life is cooking up to a storm. Well, it was only the situation at work i won't be telling the name of the company. No, not my boyfriend, or friends, or family issues. Things at work got to a personal level that i told myself I'm not going to stick around any longer and now, I'm dealing with the aftermath of being coped up with the stress for the past 4 months in that hell hole i won't get into details but yea just imagine the horrible bitchy and obnoxious Miranda Priestly bullying Andrea Sachs scenes in The Devil Wears Prada came to live. The stress omg… i kept telling myself that i can just leave and forget every damn thing that happened but guess human are made in such a way that a ball of emotions can't just evaporate that easily. Till today, i have short segments of nightmares playbacks of horrible happenings that makes me wake up with bad mood in the morning. But i believe I'm getting better, thanks to the people in my life.

So that shitty 4 months aside, lessons are learned and remembered, I'm moving on!

I don't know what to do now…. being doing all the stuff that i have been missing out i.e getting all my girly errands done, catching up on lots of youtubers videos, getting back my beauty sleep hahaha

ahhh I'm sure i will find something that is for me.

Staying Sane

School days are over.

Hitting 23 years old this coming May.

Working life is settling me into a very harsh reality that drives me to the edge. Whats wrong is that all these are just the beginning.

What keeps me sane until today is my family, good friends, boyfriend, music and regular workout sessions.

So, stay true to yourself even though people try their damn bloody best to change you.

Kyoto - Last of Japan trip 2014

Happy New Year dear readers!!
it is super late to wishing you guys now hehehe sorry!
All the best =)

Continuing my Japan post now because i have been so busy with work lately.
We took the train to Kyoto station. The journey took us around 1 hour from Tokyo.

Their architecture is marvellous and inspiring. Bet design students drool at these buildings hahah
I managed to catch the local possession day (I'm not sure of what the locals call it) the parade was full of people dressing up in traditional clothes and carrying their accessories! best part is i got to see geishas! real life geishas!! omg….super long hair on a super short girl…waoooo
Sometimes we just got to admire how people are so passionate with their job….

Japan definitely left a good impression on me and it is one of my good memories!
